Casablanca | Madrid, September 2nd 2021Intelcia announces the acquisition of 100% of the Spanish Group Unísono, a multinational reference in customer relationship management and digital transformation; a decision ratified after the approval of the Boards of Directors of both Groups on August 6th 2021.

Founded in Madrid in 1999, Unisono specializes in customer experience, business process outsourcing, digitalization, automation and customer relationship consulting. Unisono has 9,000 employees in 16 locations in Spain, Colombia, Chile and Scotland. With a turnover of 146 million euros in 2020 and more than 100 clients in its portfolio, Unisono has established itself in the Spanish market thanks to its sustained investment in innovation and a multi-channel operating model focused on maximizing quality and customer experience.

The acquisition of the Unisono Group is part of Intelcia's 2020-2025 strategy and thus responds to the Group's strategic challenge of diversifying both geographically and in terms of business.

A turn initiated in 2020 with the creation of the Intelcia IT Solutions division as well as its establishment in America, and particularly in the United States.

« We are happy to welcome the Unisono Group and all its employees into the great family that is Intelcia. Our desire is to rely on the knowledge of local management and to preserve the skills to continue to build a common history together. This operation is part of a real partnership that will offer Unisono's employees prospects for development, particularly towards more global positions. Also, the complementarity of our expertise and our geographical presence have already allowed us to identify several areas of growth », says Karim Bernoussi, CEO and Co-founder of the Intelcia Group.

« I am proud that Unisono is part of the Intelcia adventure, and thus contributes to the achievement of the Group's future objectives and to its global growth strategy. Our two Groups share the same values and vision of the sector; these same values and vision I had when I created Unisono. After 22 years of growth with one of the best teams in the industry, I am excited about the promising growth prospects that now lie ahead for the company I founded in 1999 », says Maria Del Pino Velázquez, founder of the Unisono Group.

« We are very excited to be part of a group like Intelcia that will allow us to provide our customers with a complete service in all the countries where we operate. There is no doubt that this operation offers an extraordinary opportunity for our employees for their professional development. It is very important for us to join an international group that values our identity, our reputation and our management style. I am sure that together we will succeed in combining our best practices to advance our position as a leader in customer management », explains Sandra Gibert, General Manager of Unísono.

With the acquisition of Unisono, Intelcia expands its international footprint with new onshore, nearshore and offshore multilingual capabilities to address the Spanish-speaking market. Intelcia is expected to reach a turnover of 700 million euros in 2021, becoming one of the market leaders with 300 clients, 35,000 employees and 72 sites in 20 countries.
